Delivery of reactors for Novoshakhtinsk refinery (NZNP-Engineering LLC)
The year of 2024 saw the delivery by Barrus Project of two reactors: 710-R-101 and 710-R-102 for Novoshakhtinsk refinery (NZNP-Engineering LLC).
Key features:
- Reactor 710-R-101: 4,220×710×560 cm, 353 tons
- Reactor 710-R-102: 2,460×590×560 cm, 256 tons
Our specialists overhauled the berth in the territory of the Ust-Donetsky river port to start Ro-Ro unloading of 710-R-101 reactor (for cargos up to 800 tons in weight and up to 66 meters in length with the use of barges). The works also required to obtain all necessary approvals and permissions from regulating authorities.
Preparation of the transportation route, which involves the works to expand the turn angles, dismantle guard rails, accompany the passing of railway crossings (including the wiring lift-up) and raise or dismantle overhead power lines in the movement of the cargo, was completed by our specialists in record-breaking time frame.
The route from Ust-Luga port to the refinery was 130 km long. The transportation was performed using a dedicated 24-axle modular trucking unit expansion system designed for the optimized load distribution when crossing bridges, the survey and estimation whereof had been made in advance.
Barrus Projects specialists also delivered 710-R-102 reactor, as well as six cold adsorption reactors from the port of Qingdao (China) to Novorossiysk (Russian Federation), where they did the import customs clearance including the receipt of preliminary classification resolutions for those cargos. From the port in Novorossiysk, the last mile was arranged for the six cold adsorption reactors up to the final destination in Novoshakhtinsk, and the very reactor was transshipped from the crane ship onto a barge in the port of Novorossiysk directly with the use of the ship cranes and, then, transported by the barge to Ust-Donetsky port.
